Green Girl – Blais Bellenoit

Green girl, an oil painting on canvas was completed in 2015. In this piece I ventured away from elemental textures and form and sought to capture a more earthly almost botanical feel. The concept for this work was inspired by a carnivorous plant. I had seen and was fascinated by the colors of this particular species of plant. I very much enjoyed and was inspired by the palette.
